A solo exhibition by Polish artist Mateusz Kolek, Alone Together 2022 gives viewers a chance to re-examine the charm of Hong Kong through the artist’s observation and delicate brushwork. The exhibition is held simultaneously in both Hong Kong and Poland as a continuation of Kolek’s 2019 exhibition of the same name, embodying the idea that the two locations, despite their physical distance, can be connected through art. Kolek’s first monograph Alone Together; as well as various art pieces where AR technology can be applied to view the work differently via a smartphone.

Coffee originates from the Arabic word ‘kaweh’ meaning strength or vigor, and it has become one of the world’s most popular drinks nowadays. Every single coffee bean is undoubtedly the result of the efforts of local farmers. What’s more interesting is that the geographical environment and culture of the region can somehow affect the taste of coffee. As [a] coffee-loving designer, we hope to visualise these unseen parts with fine illustration.
The artist team is introducing you to a creative approach to story-telling — the merge of illustrations, traditional printing and AR (Augmented Reality) , NFC (Near Field Communication) & NFT (Non-Fungible Token) technology. Since all the art prints were printed individually by hand-pulled screenprint, each print is totally unique with a limited run of 35 pieces released to the public.

Kristopher Ho, Hong Kong based artist and illustrator. Born in Hong Kong and raised in Blackpool, UK. Graduated from Graphic design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, specialised in illustration. Started his career as an independent artist in Hong Kong since 2012, and has been working across both independent and commercial platforms. Since 2015 he has been especially active within the Street art community and has been participating in various street art festivals such POWWOW and HKWALLS. Well known for his monochromatic and highly intricate murals and illustrations. His work has been described as both being impactful with his strokes yet also filled with intricate details. Markers has mainly been his tool of choice for both his murals and illustrations.

The Rogbot Kingdom is an ethnic living in Rogue Planet, and has been travelling in space. The nation has evolved from a group of talents and scientists and transformed to half robot half humanity. They keep learning about diverse cultures and technology during the endless journey.
The Rogbots are a Kingdom of 10,000 citizens in NFTs strolling through the Ethereum blockchain. Rogbots are unique in feature and characters and fall into 5 kinds of species with multitude of different traits ranging in both rarity and looks. Some appear cool looking. Some look weird. Some are too adorable! The Rogbot project is an elaborate and experimental project for Sci-Fi lovers for the long going Metaverse project.
